The Penguin Classics Library Complete Collection is a full set of all the books published by Penguin Classics, a division of American publisher Penguin Books. As of 2005, the collection consists of 1,082 different books (some in multiple editions) and costs US$7,989.50. The collection weighs about 750 pounds (340 kg) and takes about 77 linear feet (23.5 m) of shelf space; laid end-to-end the books would reach about 630 feet (192 m).

I'm leaving out... — 1 year ago

There are some books that have several different editions (like the prose and verse translations of works such as Beowulf and the Epic of Gilgamesh). I’ve just put one edition on there instead of several different ones. I think its okay to count it if you’ve read either.
