This list is terrible; let’s follow Erik’s lead and make our own.

Why are there only 45? — 3 years ago
I thought there were supposed to be 50 items on this list.

Where is Guinea Pig Popular exactly? — 3 years ago
Now that I know about it I’m sure I can find the Durian Monthong locally..(not quite the same as fresh in Thailand, I know but It will do for now)... but it seems that will leave me one short of completing the BBC list… so where else does one find Guinea Pig on the menu… certainly not here in Canada to the best of my knowledge!

We need some regional lists — 3 years ago
Erik is right that this list is pretty simple… but I think that is the point… In my case I’ve been lucky enough to sample many of these foods in their “home and native land” and yet I’ve often found that I’ve enjoyed food far from their native home, cooked by ex pats, much more than in their native spots…
Of greater concern to me how you can link (especially) all Chinese food or all Indian food under one banner is inexplicable…

What does it take to "count"? — 3 years ago
Most of this food is pretty simple… which makes me wonder if it might be more fun to only check it off if you’ve eaten a PERFECT DISH of the food stuff in question. Also, should it be required that you eat Greek food in Greece and Australian meat pie in Australia? And do you have to hear the lobster scream in order for it to count?
