Add to my lists | Print this list

Criteria: – These Underrated movies received either little or great critical acclaim but were generally overlooked by the public for reasons such as little or no Oscar wins at the Academy Awards, another blockbuster released at the same time, or lack of promotion, yet deserved more credit than they received for overall cinematic quality.

Underrated? — 40 weeks ago

Harry Potter definitely deserved more recognition than it got.

For what little it's worth, — 4 years ago

I might actually put Road to Perdition on a list of the 20 most overrated films of the last 25 years, along with other similarly dumbed-down, treacly, over-written and over-directed films like The Green Mile.
