Too Much Beatles — 1 year ago

23 songs by the Beatles, and only 12 by Bob Dylan!? Okay, I appreciate the fact that they put Dylan’s Like a Rolling Stone at #1, and surprisingly the highest Beatles song is Hey Jude at #8. Despite that, however, once again the Beatles are appreciated on an RS list five times more than any other artist. Can’t Buy Me Love, With a Little Help from My Friends, A Hard Day’s Night, Ticket to Ride, Norweigian Wood, Rain, I Saw Her Standing There, and Penny Lane do not need to be on the list. Joe Cocker’s cover of With a Little Help from My Friends is so much better, and should definitely replace the Beatles’ version. I don’t bash this list as much as a lot of people do because, for the most part, RS did a pretty good job with it, but there are definitely some things they need to look over and revise.

500? — 1 year ago

this isnt 500…wheres the other 233?

you can tell musicians pick these by lack of aesthetic charm — 1 year ago

you can tell these are picked by musicians who want people to remember their competirion by their weakest songs. The best songs of Lennon, McCartney, all the Beatles actually, Pink Floyd, ELO, etc.
