My mistake — 4 years ago

All this time I thought The Godfather and Casablanca were better movies than Pirates of the Caribbean. I know better now.

This could very well be the worst listing of 100 greatest movies ever made… ever made.

It’s more like “Good Movies From Not Too Long Ago” but all the same…Terminator 2 gets me to 75%. I accept!

It’s probably not accurate to call the list the “Greatest Movies of All Time” – it doesn’t really have much on it from before the 1970s, and it’s a little biased toward the sci-fi/action side of things (but that’s Empire for you, I guess.) But as a list of the films that people keep close to their hearts and watch over and over again? I think it’s a pretty good representation of the films which have remained popular over the years.
