Joe Hill's Heart Shaped Box — 4 years ago

Finished this book less than 12 hours after starting it. Haven’t done that in a very long time. In between kids, work, pets, etc, I devoured it. It’s a great story, and well told. At 3 am, in a quiet house, with the wind howling outside, I actually got goosebumps. Can’t wait for his next book, and to start on his short stories.

Finally! Finished this darn book — 4 years ago

It took me months get through Cell by Stephen King because

1. I kept losing it

2. I kept forgetting to take it with me

3. When I was able to read it, I was so darn tired I fell asleep after a page and a half

4. I had 5 other books I was reading at the same time.

But I made it. And it was good. I won’t jump and down and tell all my friends, but I did enjoy it.

Wait, posting it here IS telling all my friends isn’t it….
