Ayleesha's "Environment-Friendly ~ Green"

Add to my lists | Print this list

Environment-friendly, green items and others. Such as recyclable packaging instead of non-recyclable, items made with 100%, 85% or 35% post-consumer recycled material instead of new materials, washable, refillable and reusable products instead of disposable, chemical and chlorine free products, biodegradable garbage bags instead of non-degradable, reusable shopping bags instead of the store’s plastic bags, environmental movies and documentaries, and much much more.

All to save the environment and make the Earth a better place. To prevent more stuff from going to already overflowing, expanding and multiplying landfills. To help reduce emissions and pollution, save our precious water, energy, money, and valuable resources. To help reduce this serious threat that is global warming.

It’s normal that some people will never complete this list: not everybody uses the same stuff, ex: homeowners may have different needs than apartment renters, guys don’t use female products, not everybody drives motorcycles, or has pets, or drinks coffee, etc.

  • This list is always changing. If I find greener choices, I will leave the old items there to show the progress. Ex: Chip bag aren’t recyclable so I put Lay’s Stax on this list as a greener alternative because it is recyclable. Now, SunChips has come out with a completely compostable chip bag and now I only choose to eat those. Less plastic in this world, the better.
