Five Best Road Trips: (Guardian Unlimited)

I’ve only been on one of these… the fifth in the list is in my own back yard…. The Sea to Sky Highway (from Vancouver to Whistler, the two venues for the 2010 Olympic Games)... I must have travelled the road several hundred times… and it never ceases to amaze me… different in every season, in every type of weather, and at every time of day (at full moon at 2:00 in the morning with no one else on the road is particularly inspriring… with the moon on the Sound, and reflecting off the snow capped Tantalus peaks is a once in a lifetime type experience),

I’ll be trying all the drives featured in the Guardian List as I can… if the top 4 are better than the Whistler drive they are worth travelling the world to do…
