I watched Oprah’s follow up piece on Faith the Dog with two legs and was totally moved and instantly I knew I had the right energy to startmy story.

My intention all along has been to write a sweet nothing for children that would be well excepted in mainstream circles. My story however refuses to be writen in such a way. It comes out more like one of the dark fairy tales from Clarissa Pinkola Estees’ book Women Who Run with the Wolves. Yikes! I’ve rewriten the story a few times already and each is more dark than the first.

Very intriguing. I’m quite interested to realise that I actually have it in me to write something like that and obviously it needs to come out whether I’m ready for it or not!
