This is a list of my favorite English-Speaking movies I own on DVD. I call them "The Very Best" because each of these movies is listed on more than one, credible Best Movies list. That’s how I make my decision to purchase them, by scouring credible movie lists. If a movie keeps showing up on lists, there’s a good chance I’ll buy it on DVD. (I just got tired of investing my money on low-rated movies that I thought would be good, only to be disappointed. These aren’t listed here.)
