This is a list of works of historical fiction (not to include the genre of alternate history) that I have read and enjoyed or whose subjects I find intriguing and worthy of a quick read. I am only going to include works written since 1900 so works such as <i>Herny Esmond</i>, <i>Ivanhoe</i>, or <i>The Red Badge of Courage</i> will not be on the list.
