theqissilent's "25 Best Albums of 2004"
Note: While it’s perfectly reasonable for other publications/creators of "yearly best of" lists to include Brian Wilson’s "SMiLE," I just didn’t think it would be fair to have an album with unimpeachable classics like "Good Vibrations" and "Heroes and Villains" be competing with material less than twelve months old. Nevertheless, had I considered it, it would (obviously) be near the top.
