Some enterprising film lovers (led by Lee Price) have completed a thoughtful and enjoyable exercise on the IMDB "Classic Film" message board to create a complementary list of another 1,000 essential movies (entitled the "Doubling the Canon" list) that are currently not listed on They Shoot Pictures’ 1,000 Greatest Films listing.
