Janet Heidinger Kafka Prize

Has nothing to do with Franz Kafka. "The prize is named for a 30 year old editor killed in an auto accident…annually awarded for fiction by an American woman." It’s given by the Susan B. Anthony Institute for Gender & Women’s Studies and the Department of English at the University of Rochester.

List begins in 1975 and continues to the present. Obtained from Wikipedia.

Apparently the award was not given in some years but was given to two books in 1990.
