Things to do and things to bring on a short road trip. This is NOT for an overnight trip. Rather, it is a trip where you leave in the morning and be back home at night.

fill up the car with gasoline

have portable mp3 player ready with favorite songs

gather healthy snacks together to bring along

have a map or make sure you know where you are going

bring cell phone

bring at least a little bit of cash
