Well, all restaurants are "ethnic," I suppose, even the ones that serve tuna casserole and Triscuits, wherever those are. After all, WASP is an ethnicity, is it not?
Anyway. I may throw some American ones in here as the list progresses. And for you non-NYC people, "cheap" in NYC is anything under $12 per person, not including drinks. <a href="http://www.timeoutny.com">Time Out NY</a> defines it as $15 and under, but I’m reeeeeaaaal broke, folks.
