With Stephen’s best books of 2008.

added a few — 3 years ago

the books i added were found on fantastic fiction under stephen king recommends

Lord of the Flies — 4 years ago

This book was on the list first at 39 and then at 143. I deleted the first one, but I’m wondering if you set the list up in any particular order?

The Princess Bride — 4 years ago

This book should be added. If you read the book at the end the author says that Stephen King was/would be writing the sequel. Then if you hunt for it you can find Stephen Kings explanation for this

Finished Now — 4 years ago

I added the final 3 books and changed the link for Ghost Story from the audiobook. If people want to contribute and have other sources for books recommended by King, please add them. I know he posts books he’s reading on his website, for instance.

Help Appreciated — 4 years ago

Please do help. I also didn’t get finished. The site stopped responding near the end. I will try to add the final 3 books today.

Great idea for this list, but a lot of the versions you chose don’t seem to be best choices…

As just one example…#95 you list the audiobook version. A better choice would be this link:

I’d be happy to help with the list, but I thought I’d ask first before I made any changes…
