Spend some time reading forums or blogs and you’ll usually come across a "First!" person. For whatever reason, they find it necessary to proclaim their awesomeness by making sure you know they’re the first person to post a reply in that thread/entry. Why they think we care, I’ll never know.

However, when you’re the first person on allconsuming.net to read a book or see a movie, you’re totally 1337. These are the instances where I’ve beaten the masses to the punch. The newest ones are at the top of the list.
