Kat's "1001 things to do before you die"

Add to my lists | Print this list

This is the original list of 1001 things I believe everyone should do.

From babies to extreme sports, films to books, the things you never thought of and the things you always wanted to do, these are the things that could complete a life.

If you complete all these things you can not just change your life, but the life of others through the many inspirational goals, the challenging goals and the goals that will make everyone laugh.

There are so many goals here that can help shape the world…sponser a child for example. If everyone doing this list sponsers a child, thats a new bunch of children that will be educated, have food, fresh water and more. If everyone gives blood that could be one more life saved, that wouldnt have been saved if it hadn’t of happened.
If everyone becomes an organ doner thats an aweful lot of people saved.

So you see, this list isn’t just going to affect you, it is going to affect the people around you, the community you live in and the world.

Love a little, live a little and take this list, fulfill as much of it as you can, if not all of it and have FUN, because life isn’t going to be worth living if you dont have fun.

past halfway.

Not sure there is anything much more we can do in life.

If there is anything, anything at all, you have not seen on this list that you think should be, and is appropriate for everyone, please post a comment.

Great List — 3 years ago

Thanks for heaps of good ideas for my own list

Great, keep it going! — 3 years ago

Could complete some more if you changed Japan to China (karaoke)
Other suggestions:
-See Mt. Everest
-Meet obscure relatives and have a conversation
-Spend the afternoon watching the clouds and picking out the shapes
-Sing a Beatles song in the subway
-Climb the Great Wall
-Celebrate summer/fall solstice
-Help someone learn English
-Celebrate a national holiday in another country [St. Patrick’s Day, Canada Day, 4th of July (non-Americans), etc.]
-Stay up all night and watch the sunrise
-Show up at a friends house
-Tell those closest to you that you love them
-Stop and smell the roses (for real!)
-Help your grandparents write their own autobiography (well worth it)

This list is great, it reminded me of all those great things I did, and it makes me think that actually I’ve lived a lot. Nevertheless, there’s a lot for me to do, jejej.
