Kat's "1001 things to do before you die"

Add to my lists | Print this list

This is the original list of 1001 things I believe everyone should do.

From babies to extreme sports, films to books, the things you never thought of and the things you always wanted to do, these are the things that could complete a life.

If you complete all these things you can not just change your life, but the life of others through the many inspirational goals, the challenging goals and the goals that will make everyone laugh.

There are so many goals here that can help shape the world…sponser a child for example. If everyone doing this list sponsers a child, thats a new bunch of children that will be educated, have food, fresh water and more. If everyone gives blood that could be one more life saved, that wouldnt have been saved if it hadn’t of happened.
If everyone becomes an organ doner thats an aweful lot of people saved.

So you see, this list isn’t just going to affect you, it is going to affect the people around you, the community you live in and the world.

Love a little, live a little and take this list, fulfill as much of it as you can, if not all of it and have FUN, because life isn’t going to be worth living if you dont have fun.

at the grand age of 16!
Some suggestions:
Join a police known gang (if possible the mafia), go to jail, flash a police officer, eat something you really dont like without being sick afterwards, rake leaves outside of your house and when a car comes past doing about 7MPH shout slow down and your shake fist (and rake if applicable, have a funeral for a squashed snail, set fire to your hair

Can only think of two at the moment, but here goes: 1). Have someone write you a message in the sky with an airplane/write a message for someone else, and 2). answer a pay phone.

Love the list!

Win something — 3 years ago

for me, I narrowed this meaning to “win something… because of yourself” Meaning, not a raffle or some other random fate, but something I wanted and could only get from really applying my own talents/abilities/strengths/will: a marathon, talent show, essay scholarship, bi-coastal crossword semi-annuals..you get the pictures
I think the completion would mean so much more thus way.

i love your lists and am going to keep trying to help you reach +1001, so here’s some more!

attend a ball – see shamu at sea world – go to hollywood – give a beggar a sandwich instead of money – eat sushi – learn a second language (sign language counts) – win a game of freecell (that game right underneath solitaire on your computer) – kiss someone with your eyes open – treat yourself to some designer item (i.e. dooney & burke purse or manolo blahnik shoes)
