The Brew Site's "50 beers to drink before you die"

"A while back the BBC posted a feature titled "’50 things to eat before you die’":http://www.listsofbests.com/list/267 and I thought at the time that this would make a good topic for beer. So in the spirit of adventure and living life to the fullest, etc. etc., I’m coming up with the 50 beers to drink before you die...

"Naturally, this is an entirely subjective list and while I’ll try to be representative, it will certainly not be comprehensive of the world’s fine beer offerings. I’m sure everyone will have plenty of opinions as to what beers they would pick for this list—so maybe I’ll do a ‘reader’s choice’ version when I’m all done with my own."

This list was presented on The Brew Site in 10 parts. A curiosity of the list is that for "part 8":http://www.thebrewsite.com/2007/01/10/50-beers-8.php (numbers 36–40), the author switched from listing specific beers to listing "styles of beer of a particular destination that you will have to travel to for the experience." Those are listed here as "(beer) drunk in (place)." Try to stick with the spirit of those—don’t say you’ve had them unless you really have done so in those places!
