spesek's "Snobbery and Resistance"

I have thus far refused to take any part in the following popular culture phenomena, primarily because of their popularity within certain subcultures. And whether I am not interested at all, or am overly interested in a way that scares me, the bottom line is that I’m not participating. A few of these have not always been on my shun-list, but rest assured they are snug and cozy there now.

I feel like a checklist is appropriate because then you will be able to watch as my resistance crumbles and I gradually check off list items to which I have sold my integrity.
