Erm... — 29 weeks ago

Aphex Twin (Richard D. James) was born in Ireland… Not Britain. That is, the Republic of Ireland, which has been independent for decades. (whistles a bit)

What the fuck ? — 40 weeks ago

What the fuck ?! hum.. BEST BRITHISH ALBUM - EXILE ON MAIN ST.
by The Rolling Stones. The magazine that made this list has a bunch of retards.

Oasis above the Beatles just points out how silly this list is — 46 weeks ago

I like & respect Stone Roses and the Smiths, but Oasis at #3 while Beatles is in the list but at #9 makes me think this is really a “100 Greatest British Albums From The Standpoint Of A Gen-Y’er” list, or that it was calculated to be blatantly ironic and annoying… I mean, are Oasis even a third rate Beatles?

Maybe it should be “100 Greatest British Albums Of The Last 20 Yrs”?

What a rip! This list is rigged!! — 1 year ago

I got no beef with the top 15, The Stone Roses are right where they should be, but they’ve got Franz Ferdinand before Ride! And before Madness! That’s simply…well, Madness!!! Franz frikin’ Ferdinand??? What a Joke! Also there’s not one Siouxsie album in the list, which just makes me want to strangle someone… preferably Franz!

Error at #83 — 1 year ago

Third Day “WIRE” can’t possibly be the right album. The band is a Christian rock act made up of Yanks. My guess is that it’s an album by the band WIRE that should be there..”Pink Flag”, perhaps?

No complaints — 2 years ago

There was only one album I thought was missing from this list – Giant Steps by the Boo Radleys.

Otherwise I agree with the rankings, at least of the stuff I know.

The Bends as the top Radiohead album – check
Parachutes as the top Coldplay album – check
Ride in the top 50 – check
Stone Roses at #1 – check
