DJStroky's "things I will do differently in Grad School"

While completing my undergrad degree, I didn’t really know what I wanted to do, I didn’t study a lot, and I partied quite a bit. Well I’m not making the same mistakes this time and I’m going to make the most of my education. And here is how I will do it:

1. apply to grad school 161 people
2. Take the GRE 455 people
3. study for the GRE 89 people
4. get into grad school 401 people
5. meet with my advisor once per month
6. go to each of my teachers' office hours each week and ask meaningful questions
7. be a research assistant 2 people
8. get an internship 290 people
9. make study partners
10. study and/or do homework with study partners at least once a week
11. drink no alcohol 3 weeks prior to finals
12. line up a job for when I graduate 1 person
13. graduate from college 6126 people
14. Have the UW Career Center look at my resume
15. Do a mock interview at the UW Career Center
16. Attend an etiquette dinner at the UW Career Center
17. Get signed up to the CEE Jobs listserv
18. Make a list of companies I would be interested in working for 1 person
This is DJStroky's list. Only DJStroky can edit it. You can make your own version of this list.
