I really enjoyed this book.
It was another John Varly book. Interesting concepts vague enough to get away with, but hey a good story with interesting people.

A fun book to read.

Mammoth — 38 weeks ago

I read John Varly’s series of books “Titan, Demon and Wizard when I was I think in about 8th grade. I had not read any of his since. I really have not read much in a long time and was excited to see he was still writing.

I picked up Mammoth in part because I knew his name and in part the back cover caught my attention.

The book kept me coming back to see what would happen next. I knew where the book was going but it still ended with a bit of a twist. The characters were entertaining and I enjoyed reading the book.

Ancient Shores — 38 weeks ago

What a nice read. It starts off with a farmer in North Dakota not far from the Canadian border finding a boat buried in his field. They soon realize that it is not a normal boat and the search for more artifacts is on.

The people invovled find that people playing politics soon make it very hard to obtain their goal.

It is an interesting read and the ending I liked but was a bit far fetched. But hey it is fiction.
