O.K. I get it. We’re only listing one album for artists not named Brian Eno, but that being said, I find it interesting that the single album chosen for most of the “known” bands is (let’s be honest) their second best album. Even a relatively obscure band like Talk Talk is not listed with their claim to fame Spirit of Eden. Intentionally not choosing the most popular album by the artists chosen to go against the mainstream 1)ruins your credibility and 2)should not be titled essential albums.
