1001 Movies to See Before You Die (1940s)

Add to my lists | Print this list

This list is drawn from Steven Jay Schneider’s 1001 Movies to See Before You Die. There is a complete list available, but I got tired of it changing every year when the new edition came out. Given that none of the new editions have deleted a film before the 1980s, this list should stand awhile.

Farewell, my lovely — 1 year ago

Replaced the 1975 version with the 1944 version (which is perhaps better known as “Murder, My Sweet”).
