Gospel Music Association's "Dove Award Pop/Contemporary Album of Year Winners"
Since 1969, the Dove Awards have been presented to those recognized by Christian music artists, producers, and other industry insiders. In 1976, recognizing the increasing diversity of musical styles utilizing Christian lyrics, the Gospel Music Association broke apart their "Album of the Year" category into several smaller, more niched genre categories of which this was one.
Yes, I’m aware there’s nothing listed for 1979 but neither is there on the GMA Website. Anyone let me know who won that year??
