Oh, man… I FORCED myself to watch an episode of this yesterday. urgh. I didn’t watch the 4Kids dub if anyone thinks that’s why I disliked it, I watched it subbed, but omg it was the worst piece of poopoo I have ever had the “pleasure” to see. The drawing style is horrible, everyone is simultaneously hideous and ridiculous. I understand that certain characters are meant to be ugly, but they’re not drawn with any actual skill, so it just comes off terribly. Plus, oh my goodness, terrible voice acting, Luffy is cringe-worthy, I really cannot see myself lasting an entire series of it, let along 200-something episodes, and when he’s the main character that could become something of a problem.
I really wanted to watch and enjoy this anime, because so many people have told me it’s really good, people who like anime I would agree is good, but so far this, and to a lesser extent Prince of Tennis, just aren’t doing ANYTHING for me.

Hana Yori Dango seems to be here twice because I never finished watchign the anime due to the fact that I started watching the live-action version, which I also never finished, I’ve only got a couple of episodes left of each, only a matter of spending an otherwise bring afternoon skimming over them.
