RIAA's "Best Bluegrass Album Grammy Winners"

Handed out each and every year by members of the Recording Industry Association of America since 1989. The award has had several minor name changes, being first known in 1989 as Best Bluegrass Recording (Vocal or Instrumental). From 1990 to 1991 it was awarded as Best Bluegrass Recording. From 1992 to the present it has been awarded as Best Bluegrass Album. In 1990, the Best Bluegrass Recording was presented to a single rather than an album. ("The Valley Road", Bruce Hornsby’s collaboration with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band).
