Both Surfer Rosa and Sister were released in the late 80s. Bossanova and Goo would work though.


Untitled — 3 years ago

No quibble with #1, but quite a number of mediocrities chosen over true greats. For starters, The Pixies’ Surfer Rosa and Sonic Youth’s Sister (or anything by them) should be at #2 and #3. In several cases, the list includes the right band but opts for a lesser album.

Sorry, but I don’t consider this a very discerning list. :0(

a few albums on the list point to albums without images. i replaced 2 of those for albums with images: “last rights” by skinny puppy and “streetcleaner” by godflesh.
