Christianity Today.com's "Best Christian Albums of 2000"

Add to my lists | Print this list

From the site:
"Now that most of the year’s new releases have arrived, we wanted to publish a best-of list in time to offer suggestions for your Christmas shopping. You may wonder why we’re reviewing the top 12 when most lists only offer the top 10. We’d love to say there’s some deep spiritual reason, such as the 12 tribes of Israel, the 12 apostles of Christ, or the 12 days of Christmas. But the truth is we just wanted to be different, and it allows us the extra space to acknowledge what we consider to be the best albums of the year. So read through the reviews and make your list. No need to check it twice — you can’t go wrong with these fine offerings!"

Ranked in reverse order from #12 to #1. Unfortunately for the first year, they did NOT combine the panelists’ choices so you get a list of 12 from each of the 2 reviewers. #1-12 are choices from Mike Herman in reverse order, #13-24 are choices from Russ Breimeier in reverse order, then 8 more "honorable mentions" they must have chosen together.
