I've Done This — 6 years ago

They don’t take long to read and re-reading them helps refresh my memory in the long stretches in between books. Also I think it is interesting to read about the characters at an early stage with some knowledge of the things that will happen to them later. But it basically boils down to the fact that the HP books are just fun – on the first time, the second time, etc. I came late to the series though, so I don’t think I have read any of the books more than twice through.

Why reread? — 6 years ago

Some people like to re-read books. I’m NOT one of them. There are so many books out there that it takes time away from a book I haven’t read yet. Are you rereading them because you can’t get any new books? Are you rereading them to look for some hidden meaning or something you missed the last time? Not complaining, merely curious. I just wonder why some people prefer to read the book over. Maybe it’s like seeing a movie over again, which, if I have my way, doesn’t get seen twice for the same reason. Too many unseen ones out there!
