This is a list of my favourite releases of 2007. Note that these are not my usual "Extreme Metal" lists, but a compilation of all the stuff that I really liked. I’m sure I may have forgotten a few, but that’s the way it goes, kids.

Shining’s "V: Halmstad" made a strong surge to try to grab the top spot, but Mayhem’s "Ordo Ad Chao" is now one of my most favorite records ever. What a surprising, great release from the original black metal kings….
