bartzturkeymom's "2008 TBR Challenge"

One of the reading challenges I participate in each year is to read at least 12 books (one per month) that I designate in January, because they have been in my To Be Read pile for at least six months. Last year I failed miserably, only reading six of them. I think my problem is that I picked books that I really didn’t have a lot of hopes of reading because I didn’t care about them one way or another. This year I’m picking 12 that I REALLY want to read. I have the added pressure (in a good way) that I have added or will add them to a virtual book box that I trade with friends who all want to read the books from Dr. Peter Boxall’s “1,001 Books You Must Read Before You Die” list.
