min3rva's "My 16/50 Books in 2008"

Just that. I hope I can actually manage those 50 this year. It would do me good, I think. I need to read more and not just course material.

Goals/ nonfiction:

  • buddhism
  • Japan, China (culture)
  • knitting & crochet

Goals/ fiction:

  • just more of it, really
  • viking fiction
  • more Aubrey/Maturin books (I’d like to actually finish the series at some point…)
  • more queer-themed books :)

29/12/08: Not 50, not even close! I blame school for this, obviously, and I think I was just too optimistic… But still, a good effort I feel. I shall make another year’s resolution as "read more books" :) Another problem I encountered was the fact that there are so few Finnish books in the database and I just couldn’t remember enough details after reading to put them properly here, so a lot of books just aren’t on this list (I read a lot more books in Finnish than I originally thought I might).
