This list contains names of famous composers arranged in chronological order from Medieval to contemporary eras. Some are household names, while others are perhaps not so commonly heard. The CDs (and some scores) are examples of the composers’ works, but not necessarily their most famous piece.
It would be quite an achievement to listen to even ONE work by all of these composers!
