King’s favorite book, The Golden Agosy is a collection of short stories. Now out of print, King described the book this way:
"It remains an amazing resource for readers and writers, a treasury in the true sense of the word. The Golden Agosy taught me more about good writing that all the classes I’ve ever taken. It was the best $2.25 I ever spent."
