The actual list is irritating in that it combines several titles, sometimes not even part of the same series, into a single number. Here’s the breakdown, for anyone that’s curious:

37. both Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein

39. both Godfather Pt I and Pt II

48. Ju Dou, Raise the Red Lantern, and Red Sorghum

70. The Apu Trilogy (Pather Panchali, Aparajito, and The World of Apu)

85. La Strada and Nights of Cabiria
