tonyanderson's "Top 100 Greatest Songs Of All Time"

//Note: Currently a work in process

My opinion. Influence of the song is definitely part of the consideration, but the song as a whole is also important. How it feels, time put into it, emotion generated, the lyrics, originality, the songs overall point and meaning, it’s longevity and replay value (I.E does it get old after a while).

I also don’t like how many lists put songs in there just because of the artist. Im not basing this list off of what an artist meant to the music world.

I’m also making a point of not basing the songs in this list off what other lists have (e.g rolling stone, vh1, etc) This is what I think, not them.

This is an ever-changing list as some songs are added or deleted as time goes by and as songs prove themselves and influence others.

//Work in progress as of right now. I’ve been adding and deleting songs and comparing them to see what should go where. It’s not easy, :) but it’s fun to see which songs you find moving up and which ones down and some songs you thought were great you end up deleting to make room for more worthy ones, and so on…
