I don’t mind this list, but really. It should be retitled “Top Albums of the 1960s/1970s, With Random Albums From Other Decads so We Don’t Seem Totally Out of Touch”

I’m insulted by many of the albums I saw here. Are they serious? “Jagged Little Pill” ranks with Abbey Road? “Crazysexycool” ranks with The Clash?

Where the heck are the Monkees?!

Anything past “Headquarters,” is their own, original stuff (and definitely my favorite of their work).

In one year alone, they outsold the Beatles and Rolling Stones combined!

Bah, I’m so bitter now.

when this list was compiled and has it ever been revised? I remember watching this count-down on VH1 years ago. There’s some newer stuff that I think belongs on this list :)
