one might expect Ikiru to make the list … ?

Another good list, although I always seem to be missing the same handful in so many of your lists. That alone is incentive to track them down and see them!

stopping at 101 proved too difficult- always another that seemed indispensable….oh and then where are Rashomon, Lawrence of Arabia….? The Attached Balloon, a very little seen Bulgarian film, is one that may remain forever elusive, but the glimpse i have caught lived up to expectations.
