erm, i thought about Gwen John, Paula Rego (i like both a lot) + other women. Also Bonnard, Masaccio, Mantegna, Van der Weyden, De Chirico, Degas, Sisley, Bouguereau…

Bouguereau? For his best at least he deserves some reappraisal.

Dali, Magritte, Warhol certainly not.

Order is variable but any list without my top 10 in the top 15 or so is found wanting i think
