Movie LICENCE TO KILL in fact is a new adaptation of Ian Fleming’s " Live and Let Die" with material taken from the short story – " The Hidebrand Rarity " .
QUANTUM OF SOLACE , the latest instament of James Bond film is also based on one of these short stories.
None of the Pierce Brosnan’s Bond film is adapted from Ian Fleming Novel. All its movie tie-in are adapted from screenplay written by John Garden and Raymond Benson.
