In celebration of Ian Fleming’s 100th birthday in 2008, let’s rearrange the movies order according to publications dates of Ian Fleming Books.

Novel FOR YOUR EYES ONLY is a collection of short stories. It’s consist of : (i) From a View to a Kill, ii) For Your Eyes Only, (iii) Risico, (iv) Quantum of Solace, (v) The Hildebrand Rarity.

Movie LICENCE TO KILL in fact is a new adaptation of Ian Fleming’s " Live and Let Die" with material taken from the short story – " The Hidebrand Rarity " .

QUANTUM OF SOLACE , the latest instament of James Bond film is also based on one of these short stories.

None of the Pierce Brosnan’s Bond film is adapted from Ian Fleming Novel. All its movie tie-in are adapted from screenplay written by John Garden and Raymond Benson.
