The Hammett Prize
This prize is awarded by the International Association of Crime Writers (North American Branch) for "literary excellence in the field of crime-writing, as reflected in a book published in the English language in the US and/or Canada." Adult fiction, narrative nonfiction, and collections of short stories by a single author are all eligible.
