DoctorTeeth's "101 Movies to See: Volume One"
The first list of movies I’ve always wanted to see. I’ll watch other movies, for sure, but these are the ones I should really see. This list is pretty heavy on the films of about a dozen directors (at least two by Kurosawa, Ford, Scorsese, Leone, Bergman, Kubrick, Wilder, Lumet, Cronenberg, and Lynch), as well as emphasizing black American cinema and Japanese animation. I’ll make a new list when the first 101 are done.
