Karin Slaughter's Books

Add to my lists | Print this list

These books make up the Grant County series, the Will Trent Series, and the new Georgia series, which combines the two. www.karinslaughter.com\

They are in the order that Karin wrote them in. Triptych and Fractured are not part of the Grant County series, but Undone is where the two series combine to create the Atlanta series.

DON'T READ THIS BOOK — 3 years ago

Karin Slaughter made a big mistake when she finished this book the way she did. I know that she is an author that needs that one last thrilling event on the last page, but this was ridiculous.

If you have read any of her other “Grant County” books, STOPAFTERREADING “FAITHLESS”. It’s not worth dedicating the several hours it takes to read “Beyond Reach”, only to get to the second-to-last page, to see that all of the stuff the characters have gone through in the first five books is pointless.

I honestly can’t see how she can be writing a seventh book (“Genesis”, coming out in 2009)… unless maybe she’s thinking about making the last 2 pages of this book a dream sequence.

Yeah, don’t read it.

Update…

On second thought, and after a lot of reflection, I have decided that this was a pretty good book. Now that I know what I know after reading the book that follows this one, this book needed to end the way it did. I just might reread this whole series someday, and hopefully I will find that this book is actually worth reading a second time…
