The Top 200 Jazz CDs: 1-100
The list below is based on a comprehensive statistical survey of jazz critics, record stores and popular polls. We shamelessly admit that our primary aim was to build a list that would appeal to popular sensibilities and, as such, casual listeners should find it a useful place to start when setting out to build their ultimate jazz collection. Our hope is that long-time enthusiasts will also be able to have a bit of fun with the list. Over time Jazz 100 has evolved into a Top 200 list in order to include a wider range of worthy artists.<br /><br />
