MoogleFan's "Most Hauntingly Eerie Albums Ever"

Add to my lists | Print this list

Feel free to recommend me some more; I rather like albums of this style. This is how I described them on my Lastfm page: "listening to them at 3am or so, alone, with all the lights out and try to feel sane while doing so. These are albums of madness, of insecurity, strangeness, bleak depression, and utter weirdness." They’re not in order now, though I might organize them in the future.

Checked out your music list. Two to add:

Poe- Haunted, for reading with House of Leaves. Her brother is the author, and on the back of the book it actually says this CD is the companion CD for the book. I already had the CD, and all of a sudden it made sense when I read the book.

Soul Coughing- Irresistible Bliss, for reading with Brave New World. I had just bought the CD when the book was assigned for summer reading. I couldn’t put it down, and couldn’t take the CD player off repeat. I don’t know if will work for everyone, but for me, it was the soundtrack to that book.
